Online Fraud for Key Stage 3-4 look at ways to prevent fraud and how to avoid becoming a victim of financial fraud. We want to pupils to understand the message of ‘Out of Your Pocket’.

There’s information about typical scams, what to look out for in suspicious emails, and how to stay safe when making online transactions. There’s an introduction to different payment mechanisms and a focus on online merchants, including the benefits and risks involved for both customers and businesses.

PSHE Activities for students aged 11-16, looking at typical scams, the risks we expose ourselves to and how to stay safe when using the internet – especially when shopping and banking.

Business Studies Activities for students aged 14-16, looking at how consumers and businesses can keep themselves safe online and the balance that has to be struck between usability and security.

Maths Activities for students aged 11-16, looking at the cost of fraud to different sectors, businesses and people in the UK as well as who is most likely to fall victim to fraud and the human cost that fraud entails.
